Chapter 01 — The Brand

A name Upper Egypt grew up with — ready to be known far beyond it.

Qasr Napoli is a family-built sweets and pastry house — a name locals grew up with, known for celebration sweets, seasonal specialties, and the gifting rituals that hold a community together.

But the ceiling was never demand. It was reach and perception: beloved in Assiut, unknown beyond it — and a great in-store experience that had never been translated online. This became one of the deepest growth partnerships in P+ history.

Chapter 02 — The Tension

A local institution, with a national-sized ceiling.

A local ceiling

Adored in Assiut, but demand stopped at the city limits. The brand had no engine to travel.

A perception gap

Seen as "a beloved shop," not a scalable brand — a story that couldn't yet command premium.

Seasonal-only spikes

Ramadan, Eid, and wedding seasons brought huge peaks — with no year-round engine to hold the momentum.

Offline strength, offline only

A rich in-store experience that had never been translated into a digital presence people could find and share.

Chapter 03 — The Insight

We started where every P+ engagement starts — with the truth.

Audience
  • Families & gifting — nostalgia-driven, occasion-led buyers.
  • A younger cohort discovering premium desserts online.
  • A diaspora that misses the taste of home.
Competitors
  • National sweet chains — scale, but little soul.
  • Modern dessert cafés — soul, but no heritage.
  • An open lane: heritage made premium.
Market insights
  • Sweets are an emotional, occasion purchase.
  • Upper-Egypt loyalty + Cairo aspiration = an untapped bridge.
  • Packaging is the silent salesman of gifting.
The strategic insight

Don't sell sweets. Sell the occasion — and make the brand worthy of it.

Chapter 04 — The Plan

A five-year growth roadmap — built to climb.

Not one-off posts — a full-funnel system, phased across five years, that elevated the brand while building a year-round engine.

Chapter 08 — The Shift

From a local favorite to a regional name.

They didn't just run our ads - they rebuilt how people see us. Five years on, we're a brand, not just a shop.
